Folks, from the Flight Blog, this is Cap’n Aux speaking. Today, I’d like you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view…and not just any flight’s view, but that of the cockpit jumpseaters! You know, those piloty-types who commute to work by taking one of our extra “observer” seats in the cockpit?
I always charge my jumpers a small fee: during the flight, they become my onboard aerial photographer! Either with my camera, or their own smartphones. In any case, the views over the years have been spectacular!
Suggestion: while playing, be sure to be singing that old Duran Duran song. You know, their hit single, “Pilots on Film?!” ;o)
