Folks, from the Flight Blog, this is Cap’n Aux speaking. We’re now comfortably cruising at Flight Level 390. The Seatbelt sign is off, and you’re now free to get up and schmooze with your fellow Blog Buddies!
And, truth be told, there ain’t nuthin’ I enjoy more on this here blog thingy than meeting all of you—fellow aviation enthusiasts from around the world!
Over the course of nearly a decade here at capnaux.com, Bunny and I have met and watched many of you grow from starry-eyed teens into real, bonafide airline pilots, flight attendants, rampers, and other airline workers!
Some of you have retired from the airlines, ATC, etc., and many of you simply enjoy being “Chairborne”—i.e., living vicariously through our aeronautical blog adventures!
One Blog Buddy I’m particularly proud of has not only “grown up to be an airline pilot,” but has also now become a fellow aviation author!
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce you to Tyler S. Gaston, author of the new aviation techno-thriller, “On Silent Wings!”
On Silent Wings
From the Back Cover
Note: You may notice a quote from a certain fellow pilot-author who enjoyed an advanced copy of this amazing aviation techno-thriller!…
On a summer evening, a Tokyo-bound 777 airliner departs Los Angeles, but never reaches its destination. Vanishing without a trace off of coastal Alaska, the world is left to wonder the fate of 239 passengers and crew. Countless theories abound, but for lack of any obvious explanation, the event soon becomes the most confounding aviation mystery since the disappearance of Amelia Earhart.
For Kevin Baily, an investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board, the loss of the aircraft is deeply personal, and he vows to stop at nothing to find out what happened.
“A superb aviation techon-thriller right out of today’s headlines…A captivating piece of fiction that offers an inside look at pilots, airlines, and accident investigators, with a story just as gripping and mysterious as the disappearance of Malaysia Flight 370 itself.”
—Capt. Eric Auxier, Columnist for Airways Magazine, Author of “The Last Bush Pilots” (An Amazon Top 100 Breakthrough Novel.)

A huge THANK YOU to our good friend and fellow Flight Attendant Johnny V, who painted for us this amazing artwork, inspired by Bunny’s bodybuilding adventures!
What’s more, when he was a boy, Johnny donated one of his kidneys to his sister. Inspired by that memory, he is helping to raise money for one of our fellow flight attendants, KC Strader-Moore, who is in dire need of a kidney.
Johnny has created 3 more works of art that he will auction off to help fund her medical struggle!
Folks, I’ve been having gobs of fun interacting with y’all, here, online, and in person! Check out some of our fun below!
